COPWDC is pleased to offer indoor land training practice again this spring to give our members an opportunity to train and prepare their PWDs for water trials sanctioned by the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America (PWDCA).
Beginner and experienced handlers welcome! Our first session will include discussion of required exercises and water trial rules, an equipment show & tell as well as an overview of the essential skills needed for water work. A demo dog(s) will demonstrate junior, apprentice and working level exercises. Questions are welcome and encouraged!
Sessions 2-6 will include time for each handler team to practice these exercises/skills during the second half of the session.
